Our mission for ZipCarts is to provide an affordable, safe and fun transportation service for the students of the greater Gainesville area. Our goal is to decrease the amount of CO2 pollution, prevent D.U.I.s, robberies and sexual assaults by putting our “feet on the street” and directly making a difference. It is our mission to bring you the best transportation possible.

We are Zero emission, In-town, People moving Carts. ZipCarts provides a safe, fun, convenient, and affordable way to get around town. No more waiting a bus stop or getting into an uncomfortable cab, we guarantee you the best time on a ZipCart with a very minimal waiting time.

We use fully electric vehicles to help save the environment, save you time, and save you money. We keep our fee low by companies subsidizing the cost through advertising on the carts themselves.

Our Carts and Drivers- Check out our vehicles. They’re futuristic, zero-emission, and easy to jump into and out of. They’re street-legal through the department of transportation, safe (everyone has a seat belt), and fun. On a hot day, it’s like being driven around in a breezy convertible at 25 miles an hour. Our drivers are screened for safety and security and they make money based on tips. All drivers are not just young, sociable students; they are thoroughly trained to insure your safety.
